Warranties, MAP & Trade Partner Policies

This page summarizes the Klovo trade program in plain language. It’s written by engineers and operators, not lawyers. If anything here isn’t clear, tell us and we’ll fix it.

WARRANTY LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY

Klovo warrants its “covered products” to the original consumer purchaser to be free from all defects in workmanship and material under normal use for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. “Covered products” includes cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, shelves, and accessories that are manufactured by Klovo Any accessories or other products sold with or as a part of any “covered product” that were not manufactured by Klovo are excluded from the definition of “covered products” and coverage by this limited warranty.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, improper storage, neglect, acts of God, exposure to moisture, exposure to extreme temperatures, or improper installation. Additionally, this warranty does not cover wear or deterioration that results from natural aging, including expansion and contraction. Any incidental, consequential, or other damages of any kind or nature are also excluded.

This warranty does not cover discoloration such as lightening or darkening due to light exposure, natural or artificial. Age, lighting, and exposure to the elements all have an expected and natural effect on wood and are not considered to be manufacturer’s defects that are covered by this warranty. Painted finishes have unique characteristics that differ from standard wood finishes. Wood of all species is subject to the humidity and temperature of its environment and may expand or contract due to changes in weather, temperature, or climate. Due to these normal shifts in the environment, painted wood cabinetry may develop hairline cracks, peeling, or separation of seam lines. On select hardwoods and veneers, joints, seams, and some natural characteristics of the wood (including, but not limited to, grain patterns, knots, and mineral streaks) will remain visible through painted finishes. As painted cabinet products age, the finish may mellow or discolor slightly. The degree of change to the original finish color is affected by the products’ exposure to natural and artificial light. These normal variations are not considered quality defects and are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not include any expenses incurred in removal, shipment, or reinstallation of the “covered products”. Klovo will not assume or authorize anyone to assume for us, any liability in connection with the sale of Klovo’s products. This warranty shall not apply in storage situations where loading exceeds the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association testing and certification standards. In addition, this warranty shall not apply to any products used or installed in conjunction with Klovo such as plumbing fixtures, countertops, or appliances. Klovo reserves the right to change design, specifications, and materials as conditions require when improvements are developed. The manufacturer has no obligations to incorporate such changes in products previously manufactured.

WARRANTY PERFORMANCE

In the event of a manufacturing defect within the terms and conditions set forth herein, Klovo, Inc., at their discretion, will either replace or repair the defective product. Replacement parts may not match your existing cabinetry due to changes in the finish and wood over time. If the affected product is no longer available, Klovo reserves the right to (i) replace the affected component with a new component of the same style, or (ii) replace the affected component and any other component within the total product to achieve a uniform appearance with a similar and comparable product style and quality as the original product. Repaired or replaced product shall be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited Warranty on the original product or for ninety days, whichever is longer.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SETS OUT THE FULL EXTENT OF KLOVO’S RESPONSIBILITIES, AND THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY REGARDING THE PRODUCTS. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL KLOVO BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR FOR, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMMERCIAL LOSS OF ANY SORT; LOSS OF USE, TIME, DATA, REPUTATION, OPPORTUNITY, GOODWILL, PROFITS OR SAVINGS; INCONVENIENCE; INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT. ALL DISPUTES WITH KLOVO ARISING IN ANY WAY FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE SALE, CONDITION OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTS SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION, AND NOT BY A COURT OR JURY.

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM

Contact us through the website with order number, photos/video, and a short description of your claim. We’ll confirm within 2 business days and provide next steps. If covered, we’ll repair or replace the affected part(s) promptly.

Program Terms (Dealers & Retailers)

Annual Volume

To participate as an Authorized Dealer, maintain an annual purchase commitment of $500,000 (measured on invoiced wholesale purchases). We review progress quarterly.

Sales Channels

Your owned website and physical locations are approved.
Third-party marketplaces require written approval.
No resale on Amazon.

Brand Use

Use current KLOVO assets (logos, product names, photography).
Do not alter product names or create look-alike bundles without approval.

Logistics

Flat-pack cartons for efficient freight and replenishment.
Standard ship window is approximately 3 weeks from order.

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

To keep the brand consistent across channels, Klovo uses a simple MAP rule that applies to every SKU and finish. It protects the customer experience and your margin.

MAP Rule

MAP = 0.75 × List Price

Applies to all products, kits, and finishes.
Covers all public-facing pricing: website, print, email, paid ads, and in-store signage.
Private quotes to end customers are not “advertised” and are outside MAP.

If you advertise an item, the price shown must be at or above the MAP value.

Promotions & Exceptions

Temporary promotions are allowed with written approval from Klovo.
Couponing, cart-level discounts, and bundles must still respect MAP on any advertised price point.
We review and approve exceptions quickly—our goal is to help you move product without eroding the line.

Monitoring & Enforcement

We monitor public pricing across major channels.
If we see an issue, we’ll reach out first—engineer-to-operator—to resolve it quickly.
Repeated or intentional violations may affect program status or allocation.
